Malloc VPN release for Android

The latest version of Malloc on Android at the time (2024.10.100) included the following changes:

  • Remote VPN servers to help surf the web freely. You asked and we listened, so we brought remote VPN servers back. Existing subscribers benefited without any additional cost, and it was signalled that in the near future the service would be provided at a premium price.
  • Block any app or process, even if Malloc cannot identify its name, from sending data. Malloc was already able to let you know which app is sending data and where, but you could not do anything about it. Now you can block individual apps from sending data. This also applies to suspicious processes that might have been sending data without you understanding what they are and why.
  • A sleek dark mode, which is actually dark — after your request. Try the updated dark mode and let us know how you find it.

At the time of writing, Malloc was offered for $20 per year — at which price you could also use the remote VPN — and it was stated that Malloc would be offered at an increased price starting November 2024. The new version was expected to be available around the globe by the 15th of October 2024.
